There are a variety of stronghold map scenarios for multiplayer such as economic war, capture the flag, death match, and king of the hill. Downloading and editing maps can be fun, but keep in mind excessive werewolf camps or outlaw camps will make the game lag considerably. Note that when downloading a map for the first time, you need to check opponents set up to see if they have added extra honor statues, iron mines or resources which is a common cheat. I have caught many players doing this that claim they are unbeatable in stronghold legends. HINT: When downloading maps, check to see if opponent has added extra honor statues or extra resources that would of gave him an extra edge over you. Map cheats are the biggest amateur cheat!

Using Map editor:

The main way in downloading new maps for your collection, is joining multi player games. When you play a map, the map is automatically saved under your map collection unless you already have it. You can take exsisting maps and edit them to your liking. This is done in map editor. Stronghold Legends offers a really great graphical user interface for editing functions such as raising and lowering land, adding troops, adding resources and more!



This has happened before, an opponent almost beat me, and I was really intrigued by how he was able to over power my 200 + mounted knights. Not only was he able to do this, but come back with 100's of giants as if he had unlimited honor. The players name was le ' invincible or something close to that (was french). I later took the map in map editor to pre make iron mines for a fast multi player game. Then, I seen that my opponent had 40 more honor statues than me! What a noob. So remember to check stronghold maps! This is a very famous cheat! Don't let the noobs win!
